I’ll start with an apology to Tonka. My cadence this morning was not good. This morning was practice for Saturday and it looks like I need to keep practicing. Don’t worry brother it will be spot on by the weekend.
I volunteered to Q this morning for a couple of reasons. First of all, today is my 18th Wedding Anniversary. I remember as a kid hearing older folks talk about how fast time goes by and the older I get the more I understand what they meant. These 18 years have flown by. This anniversary was unique in that it is the first one that the M and I have not been together. You see Gobbler (2.0) had a camp in Winston-Salem this week, so she to take him. So I knew I needed something to do this morning as the house would be empty. The other reason I wanted to Q this morning comes from an idea that I had back in December. Back in December I volunteered to Q and the M helped spark the idea of a work out themed around the 12 Days of Christmas. After that workout, I thought it would be fun to do the same thing but in the summer – Christmas in July. So the stage was set, the plan was made, the disclaimer was given.

The Thang – 12 Days of Christmas – Rep count matches the day and at each stop we added a day like the song, so day 12 we did all the exercises and all reps

This workout sneaks up on you. It starts off kinda slow, but by the end you’ve done over 350 reps and 1.5 Miles of running in 45 minutes with very little stopping, thus keeping that heart rate up – Nice Work Guys – the gift that keeps on giving.
