Lessons were learned this morning as five PAX ran from the Dog Park to downtown Kinston in search of an American Flag. We did find the tallest flag in Kinston located at Pearson Park (fact check if you wish). Side story, Forrest the Q failed to bring the flag to the workout this morning. The fellow runners were kind this morning, but I’m sure I’ll pay the price down the line :)

We all found humor (maybe except for one) and were reminded of the importance of using the bathroom prior to running four miles early in the morning. We were extremely grateful for Goggles having the key to the House of Hope this morning to save one of our PAX member from having to revert to alternative options. The mumble chatter on the way back to the AO consisted of humorous running stories and mishaps as well as positive encouragement and the success stories of F3. The communication subsided briefly as we were all stunned by the distinct odor of road kill. I can’t speak for the other PAX, but I almost splashed merlot it was so strong. Proud to get in four miles this morning with four other high impact men in our community. Thank you!
