Hey… What happened to Cold-Cut?

YHC pulled into the SchoolYard around 0520. Had a few HCs but did not know who else would show with some of the regulars out of town. Was happy to see Cold-Cut already there and ready to roll. Joined shortly after by Slalom, Landline and Beaker. Mileage goal today was 7-8 miles… Took off towards the Greenway via Greenville Blvd to Elm Street. Caught the Greenway right at ESP. Couple PAX forgot their headlamps and YHC’s went dead early on the Greenway so light was at a minimum. Landline and YHC kept the pace pretty fast through the Greenway. Got to Cotanche Street near the Town Commons and decided to get onto Charles Blvd and take Charles to Greenville Blvd.Up on Charles near Clark Leclair, YHC and Landline was a good amount ahead of the other PAX. Decided to get to Greenville Blvd and then circle back for the six. Met up with Slalom and Beaker but no Cold-Cut in sight. YHC asked where Gramps went and Slalom said he made a pit stop at Krispy Kreme. The “Hot” light was on so we thought he stopped for a coffee and a glazed.

Greenville Blvd all the way down until we got back to the SchoolYard. That entire mile stretch, Cold-Cut was nowhere in sight but as we got to the Schoolyard and made two short trips around the parking lot to get to 9 miles, Cold-Cut appeared. YHC has no clue how he does it… the man is a true magician! We ended with 9 miles at an average pace of 15’10”. Great push by all continuing our #PushFor100. Until next time…
