Newfie tapped YHC for his first First Aid Q a few weeks ago. In fact, other than Ruck On, it’s YHC’s first stadium Q. So, YHC figured we’d go door to door- uh, gate to gate and check it out. Being it was the gloom, nobody was home, so the PAX just did exercises:

Warmup:

Circle/Introduction/Pledge of Allegiance

SSH

Cotton Pickers

Good Mornings

Arm Circles

The thang:

We then moseyed the short distance to gate 6 and found a spot along the wall for People’s Chair. Each PAX counted to 6. Some PAX got creative by adding Hallelujahs, overheard claps, punch outs, and other modifications, which set the tone for the rest of the workout- although they didn’t know it yet.

Recover and mosey to gate 7 for 7 4-count LBCs, then Al Gore for a 6 count around the circle with more, um, modifications.

Mosey to gate 8 for 8 4-count Mountain Climbers, 7 4-count LBCs, 6 count Al Gore around the circle.

Mosey to gate 9 for 9 merkins and (I wonder what they’re gonna do next!) 8 4-count Mountain Climbers, 7 4-count LBCs, 6 count Al Gore around the circle. Hopefully the PAX are starting to sense a pattern……

We repeated this pattern at each gate, adding

Gate 10- 10 V-ups

Gate 1: 1 burpee

Gate 2: 20 squats

Gate 3: 15 4-count Imperial Walkers

Gate 4: Plank Jacks (although YHC messed up and missed stopping at gate 3, so we did both Gates 3 & 4 at gate 4)

Gate 5: All PAX holds plank while one PAX runs up Mt. Murphy and does 5 calf raises at the top. Once he returns, he resumes holding plank and the next PAX goes up and does 5 calf raises at the top. Rinse and repeat until everybody goes. It was almost 6:15 by this point, so it went from one PAX at a time to 2 PAX at a time to the rest of the PAX going at the same time.

Mosey back to the flag promptly at 6:15.

We then ended with nameorama, prayer requests, took a knee and prayed out, and took a picture.

Thanks to all who posted and Newfie for the Q.
