Ruck at your best pace along the path to the baseball field (looking back at the Strava stats when YHC was done, Pied Piper led us to an impressive 13:05 pace for the first mile of the workout). The ball field was locked so we had to adapt and overcome and use the outside of the fence instead of the inside of the fence for the next part of our workout. YHC was never very good at baseball, and most of my memories from high school ball involve running poles. We all know that running sucks, that’s why we ruck. So in honor of the Greenville Little League team we ruck shuffled poles performing reps that coordinated with the scores from the two shutouts so far at each pole.

Left field: 6 ruck swings for the 6-0 W

Right field: 16 ruck swings for the 16-0 W

Rinse and repeat in honor of the two wins

After our second set of poles we circled up for gravediggers pulling our rucks underneath us and rucked the long way back to the flag through the woods. Had a couple of good conversations on the way back with various PAX. YHC told a story of one time I had to run poles during practice (it was comically misunderstood today and became a much worse offense than what actually happened).

We arrived back at the flag with about 5 minutes remaining, so we did flutter kicks, windshield wipers and LBCs with our rucks until 6:15.
