First Sunday PM F3 workout.  Hot and Muggy as I arrived near the workout equipment end of Boyd Lee Park to find Nutmeg, Lifeson and Charlie Brown waiting and wondering what pain they would be experiencing in the very near future.

The Thang

The Pax moseyed (sauntered) from the workout equipment over to the softball field new the Beau Thompson bridge and circled up at home plate.  We formed 2 teams of 2 and began a round of Super Blimps.  One team member jogged down left field line while the other went down the right field line.  First team member to reach center field held plank until other team member reached center field. As team members collected themselves at center field, the BLIMPS began.  First round of 5 Burpees (everyone’s favorite).  The next pass at center field lead to 10 Lunges (Charlie Brown’s day is now complete). 3rd pass lead to 15 Imperial Walkers.  Nutmeg began to take enormous leads on the older guys as he raced from center field to home plate and back he seemed to gain more and more speed and energy.  4th pass in center field lead to 20 Merkins and then another race.  The soft grass in the outfield is welcomed to 50 year old joints.  5th pass met us with 25 Plank Jacks and the Blimp finally burst into flames as we ended with 30 Squats.

Pax sauntered on over to the rest room area where we met Lyndsay.  She was waiting eagerly to began torturing the Pax with a round of one legged squats, first the left leg and then the right.  She combined 2 exercises of one legged squats and dips.  King Pin enjoys the dips!  First 10 each then 15 each, 20 each until we reached 25.

Pax them regrouped  on the wall for several 1 minute rounds of balls to the wall alternating and resting(resting???) in a chair position between balls to the wall.

Pax now moseyed on towards the flag but were interrupted down the left field line of the first field by Mary.  Mary attached our abs for 12 minutes and made sure that muscles had been assaulted.  This finished our routine as we tried to address all areas of our body’s needs.

COT

Pax huddled and and closed out in prayer.

Those remember Timmy Pittman, Jay Wickham, Charlie King
