Didn’t learn the lesson from the morning about the wind, still went out in shorts and t-shirt. Least it didn’t rain again (may not have this am if YHC didn’t jinx it). Showed up to HP walking across the street, found out some signs were put in the normal PAX parking spaces. YHC had a ruck course and some ideas in mind and the clock struck 16:15. We were about to head off and noticed a post on the #TwitterMachine that @Sarge was OTW. We waited and we were going to do a warm-up when YHC sent a message and suddenly they arrived. They jumped out of the van like something out of the A-Team and we were off.

The Thang

Move with good pace down Berkley Road across 14th and behind the Dorms. Down the Stairs and onto the Greenway. We took a left out of the Greenway (new route for YHC) to put us out closer to 10th Street. We went up Elm and took a right onto 6th Street. Then a right onto Forest Hill Circle, followed by a left onto 8th Street. This is when the PAX noticed the Boy Scout Trails, told them that was where we were headed. We went up and down and around the trail. We navigated some wetlands to make it back across 10th Street. Continued on the Greenway up through Elm Street Park and down Elm. We then took a right onto Overlook Drive and went around the school to end up with exactly 3 miles.

BoM

YHC mentioned the job situation.

YHC closed us in prayer.

CoT

Coffeeteria will be at the Boy Scouts Pinewood Derby, pancakes and sausage.

Moleskin

We ended up with an average of around a 16 minute mile pace. We were not in the mountains, but had some hills to ascend and descend for an Elevation Gain of 64 Feet.

Awesome job to the PAX. It was HP’s first Ruck post, he wore my 20lb vest.
