YHC pulled up around 5:10, having to reassure himself of the route of the first exercise of the morning. YHC saw Fertile pulling in behind him with an FNG (welcome Seadoo!) YHC thinks he caused Fertile a little confusion about where to park as Fertile and Seadoo crept up to the parking spaces, very sketchy look. The rest of the PAX pulled in, everyone wondering what YHC had in store for the surprise. The clock ticked down, it was 5:29 and we started the party a tad early.

Warm Up

SSH x 33 IC

Merkins x 33 IC (Regularr x 11, Irkins x 11, Derkins x 11)

The Thang

Mosey to far speed bump on the cut thru road. YHC had done his homework and mapped out this location on purpose. It was .33 miles from the flag. Squeeze play wanted to know where we were going, Stretch quickly reminded him if he could handle The Commons, he could handle any mosey, but this day was full of surprises. We stopped at the last speed bump, did one burpee and Glory Road of burpees was underway! We stopped at multiple points and did a few burpees along the way.

1-2-3-3-4-5-5-4-3-2-1 (burpees at each stop)

YHC thinks it was towards the end of Glory Road some of the Pax members counted and realized 33 was becoming a theme. We ended up back at the flag and Spackler was relieved, only to realize it was 5:45 and we had 30 minutes left!

Moseyed to the home side of the football bleachers. YHC loves the bleachers, it’s unique to The Rush. It also gives YHC a chance to see the “floors” app on his fitbit turn green. YHC loves green. Explained the exercises. We were to do 17 reps at the bottom, sprint to the top and do 16 of the same exercise equaling 33 reps of the exercise. Once complete, mosey back down the bleachers, rinse and repeat with another exercise that YHC called out. Luckily Dick Trickle is back in action from his injury to keep the Pax caught up on the numbers and sequencing. YHC had 4 exercises planned, all of which were accomplished, but due to Fighting Irish’s love for gorilla humpers, they were added in at the end.

LBCs

Irkins

Foot Released Squats (brought some serious mumble chatter)

Box Jumps (some Pax did step ups as modification due to wet conditions). YHC was trying to perform box jumps until a slip somewhere around the low teens. YHC thinks Headlight was the only Pax member to see him slip.

Gorilla Humpers – perform 3 on a row of seats, skip up 2 rows and complete 3 more, all the way to the top, total of 33 gorilla humpers completed.

Next YHC led a mosey to the far corner of the track. At this point G-String made mention of Foot Released Squats, mumbling something along the lines of “difficult”. YHC didn’t think that word was in G-String’s vocabulary. He’s from the Cousin IT, Hat Trick and Abu school of exercise.  We planked for the 6, in which Mayheim asked what we were doing. After an explanation, he noted to the group he wasn’t the 6 as usual, Mayheim making progress, keep up the good work Mayheim! Next exercise was to partner up. With your partner, you both run 3/4 (333 meters) of the track, 4 corners style, stop at that corner and perform 33 reps of the exercises provided. Each group would end up doing 3 laps or 3/4 of a mile.

Plank Jacks

Carolina Dry Docks

American Hammers

Getting close to end of time, YHC announced a modification of doing 33 total reps between yourself and your partner. YHC did this partially for himself; he was partnered up with G-String, his moseys are YHC’s sprints. YHC was tired and G-String didn’t break stride. Upon completion of exercises at last stop, the Pax lead plank-o-rama for the 6. We moseyed to the flag and it was 6:15.

Another great showing by the PAX. 22 strong men took to the challenge and surprise. Each pushed one another to complete what they didn’t think was possible. Tonka recently wrote about Addition by Division. It took YHC a while to understand this concept. We’ve always been taught, strength in numbers. F3 is opposite. More PAX equals a “better” and/or stronger organization, molding more men to be leaders of their community and families. However, at each AO, the 2nd F is reached at a far better rate when PAX member can single out, encourage, push, challenge and reward other members individually. As many other BB have noted, please continue to post. Please continue to try out different AO’s. Continue to bring FNGs and relieve them of the Sad Clown Syndrome they’re suffering from that they don’t even know about. To the 22 PAX present today and the hundreds of others with us in the F3 spirit this morning, thank you for your continuous support and love. Also, thanks for helping Skipper skip the fartsack on YHC’s birthday!
