There really isn’t anything sweeter than 5:31 AM rolling around and watching Cousin IT drive like a maniac into the parking lot of your AO. Today was a good day! I think Jesus wanted to bless our PAX with a little bonus and this was just that. It got even better when Cousin IT denied being late. AHH, the sweet smell of sarcasm entered the air. We are a tough crowd. Anyway, the six of us rocked a 5+ mile “out and back” on Laurie Ellis road. I love this run because there aren’t many cars and you get to see roadkill or two. We made it all the way to Jack Jones Road. I got to hear the details of Half Pipe’s 100-mile event a few days back and it made me want to never, ever, ever do it.  With that said Arkansas ran faster than me and I was not happy about that. I am way more awesome than he and it really isn’t fair. PS if you posted at Run Strong today you are a dork.
