Stabler asked me to Q the 2.0 Friendly workout.  Really think this was a phenomenal idea whoever came up with it.  What a great way to get the 2.0s engaged and spend time with Dad.  Was excited for the challenge and figuring out a good workout, and also to get my youngest son, Benjamin, out to his first F3 workout.

Warmup – SSH, Good Mornings, Butt Kickers

The Thang

In honor of my son’s first workout and the 2.0s in attendance, decided that anytime Fornite was yelled by the Q, the adults did 5 burpees and the kids did 5 pushups.

Moseyed down the Contentnea street and back with a few Fornites along the way.

Moseyed over to the picnic tables and did 11s with step-ups and WWII sit-ups.

Moseyed over to the basketball court and did 3 rounds of full court lay-ups while the rest of the team rotated between Squats, Imperial Walkers, & Burpees.

Moved over to the baseball field and each family took a base (or cone as it was).  Burpees at home plate, Squats at First, Mountain Climbers at Second, & Gorillas (avoided humpers) at Third.

Finished up with a nerf football throw where there were variations of abs and merkins based on whether the yellow or black side was up.  Don’t ask me which one was which because I think I got a little confused along the way.  Oh well, exercises were performed and everyone stayed in motion.

Kids hit the slide before returning to the flag and we were done!

Moleskin

It was so great to see the 2.0s out there today having a good time and pushing themselves a little bit.  Enjoyed seeing my son, now Jack Jack, out here for his first workout.  I think he’ll be back.

See you in the gloom.
