Q volunteers have been a bit scarce lately, but YHC always appreciates a chance to take the helm so such was the case this morning.  With a number of PAX participating in the BRR #CSAUP event and several others recovering from injury, YHC wasn’t sure about the turnout, but nevertheless, a weinke was put together.  Arrived early placed some markers around the church area and began to stretch.  Cars pulled up seconds before start time, and three PAX joined YHC at the #shovelflag.  TGIF began.

Warm Up:  SSH, IC, X 15; Don Quixote, IC X 16; Monkey Humpers, IC, X 15, Mosey to SW Corner of GCA

The Thang:

  • BLIMPS circuit around GCA/Church perimeter.  Burpees X 10; Lunges X 20; Imperial Walkers X 30; Merkins X 40; Plank Jacks X 50; Squats X 60, Running between stations/stops, Al Gore for the six
  • Run a Lap Around the Circuit, Ten Count by Fruity Pebbles
  • BLIMPS, same as above, but half the reps at each station/stop, mosey to playground #mumblechatter broke out,
  • 11’s with Swerkins on the swings and foot release squats on the bench seats, mosey to the #shovelflag,
  • Mary:  WWII’s, FlutterKicks, American Hammers, Planks, Freddie Mercurys all in cadence

Prayer requests:  BP’s brother, Cheese Head’s sister’s birthday, Fruity Pebbles asked for prayers for travel safety and for injured PAX.  YHC also mentioned the PAX in the BRR for protection from  injury and travel safety.  YHC led closing prayer.

Moleskin:  Great working out with these three committed PAX.  Stars were beautiful in the sky, as was the sliver of the moon.  I appreciated the encouragement offered and that everyone hung in there to make the workout effective.  God is good!
