Elephant Walk?

Mayhem visited Eagles Ridge last Tuesday and was immediately shoulder tapped to Q this Tuesday! No problem! I did forget that I was also scheduled to Q this Wednesday as well, so i needed to make sure that my weinkies didn’t overlap and that I didn’t kill myself to the point I couldn’t Q tomorrow lol.  So with that in mind, I showed up……..10 minutes early!!!!…….planted the shovel flag, met arriving PAX, and we circled up and started at 5:30 sharp.

Started with Lunges uphill and running downhill; however, after 3-4 lunges uphill YHC decided to allow a backwards run uphill. That was accepted by all except Charlie Brown, who decided to show off his running prowess and sprint uphill. Him being the leader he is, most of us followed suit the final couple of trips uphill.

Done with that. Mosey down to the bus stop in the lower lot for parking light suicides! Since the Pirates are 3-4 in football this year…..3 Burpees at the Bus Stop and 4 low squat jumps at each light. Good conversational pace allowed for some good 2nd F along the way. Finished up at the top near the vans. Quick 10 count from Show Boat and we were off again.

Mosey to the tunnel of love which seemed like a good spot to go parking! Wall Sits were a pleasurable experience without Spinal Tap’s LONG COUNT! I will have to remember to NOT do that tomorrow at BLP!

Run the rest of the way to the Pirate Statue and cement benches surrounding it. YHC instructed the PAX to perform various exercises mostly in cadence. Number of reps determined by some exciting young talent on ECU’s football team that give us reason for HOPE!
