At some point Mayhem hit YHC up about Q’ng! Last week he let YHC know he accidentally put it for today and wondered if it was ok. Of course it was because today was a special day and made the weinke easy to create. YHC traditionally goes to #TheGoodFight because of the weight work, but got some in at the work gym yesterday and had plans for some in this Q! When this workout took a more Running focus, YHC reached out to Mayhem about if it was going to be Run Centric now. He said it would be a Run Centric Boot Camp. So here it is…

Mosey toward the River Birch Courts

Here YHC let the PAX know that it was Durantualla’s 11th birthday today and we would be doing some 11s!

Each sideline on the court would be 1 (2 per court). We would run to each line and return. If it was an odd number than you do that many WWI’s, if it was an even number you do that many WWII’s. The idea was to work together to push each other. We went back to finish with the six and do the last 11 with them in cadence.

We moseyed back to JH Rose and went the opposite way around the track, stopping at the finish line.

We would do 11’s with a partner, consisting of Pull-ups near the finish line (didn’t think they have ever been used, at least when YHC has posted) and tire flips at 100 start. Everyone got to 3 Pull-ups and 8 Tire Flips. The biggest tire had the most grip and was tough to lift. The smallest of the three was just about right. For some reason we could not lift the medium size one???

When I arrived at the #ShovelFlag, String Bean was mentioning that Patch was ahead of me for posts. I guess that EC thing pays off. I was excited to see that he was looking and sorting through the Directory! Good push Patch, you keep doing your EC and YHC will keep posting “almost” every day…

Today was all about Durantualla, he is our special 2.0! We love both of our kids and of course they are both very different from each other. Durantualla has taken much more work because of Asperger’s. It’s been a struggle sometimes, but that’s the way that life can be. We keep working with him and hoping one day, he can be a productive member of society. The time of prayer was all about the 2.0’s. They are what we live for. Let’s keep pushing each other to make ourselves the best Dad’s we can be!!!
