Had a great turn out for todays Blast Off at BLP! We dodged a bullet with no severe weather and 17 PAX showed up with 3 FNG’s to partake in some rock around the circle, AMRAP’s and Australian Mountain Climbers. There were a good number of PAX when YHC arrived and the rest of the pax rolled in and we got started right on time. YHC gave the standard disclaimer as there was 3 FNG’s present and then we got down to it.

Mosey over to the rock pile a grab a rock, then circle up for round robin exercises. Starting with the Q pick any exercise you want and do 20 reps in cadence then pass the rock you have to the right after each exercise. We went though a total of 17 different exercises one for each PAX present. Some of the exercises done were Curls, Tricep extensions, Rows, Chest Presses, KB swings, Running a distance while carrying the rock over your head(Thanks San Fran). After getting done with these we jogged over to the picnic shelter and did Irkins for the six, then started our AMRAP for 10-12, maybe 15 minutes. There was some strong mumble chatter near the end and out and out dispute about the total amount of time from Wimpie and Bono as YHC did initially say we would AMRAP for about 10 minutes, but who’s counting among friends. We then moved over to the baseball backstop and did 15 Australian Mountain Climbers IC and then People’s Chair with 10 count from each PAX. Then it was back to the shovel flag to plank for the six, followed by a series of Mary exercises to finish the morning. Some of which were Windshield Wipers by Wimpie and Box Cutters by Spaulding.
