When Mr. Heyman arrived this morning in the pouring rain, the first thing he said was “well so much for my weinke!” Bench said “don’t be afraid to seek shelter.” That sounded like a good plan, and became an even better one when Monarch’s car started acting possessed during the warm-up. The headlights started going on and off randomly throughout the warm-up. Maybe Monarch’s car is a descendent of Christine from the 1983 horror movie, so after the warm-up we stopped by the rock pile to collect a rock and headed to the shelter.
