The THANG

YHC went through every BB in Nov. and picked the top (10) workouts at each Boot Camp AO in ENC for the month of Nov.  Coincidentally (or not), there are (10) Gates at Dowdy Ficklen Stadium in which we could do each exercise. After Warms Ups we broke out into (2) Teams.  Team A and Team B. Each Team would call out a workout.  If it was on the top 10 list, we would run to the Gate that corresponded with the number and do the exercise (ie Somebody on team A would say LBCs and if it was the 5th most used exercse we’d run to Gate 5 and do LBCs..Derkins was 9th you’d run to Gate 9 and do Derkins, etc..). If it was not on the list you’d get a “strike” and would do (2) burpees..2nd strike (4) burpees, and 3rd strick (6) burpees. We completed the final Lunge at 6:14 am, moseyed to the flag, and finished right at 6:15 am.  I honestly didn’t think we could finish it, but the PAX pushed through and worked together to get it done.  Great Job by all.

  3. GATE3 – Squat/Jump Squats – 50/50 (4th Exercise)
  4. GATE 4 – Flutter Kicks – 100 (5th Exercise)
  5. GATE 5 – LBC – 100 (2nd Exercise)
  6. GATE 6 – Dips – 50 (6th Exercise)
  7. GATE 7 – Lunges 20 x 3 (10th Exercise)
  8. GATE 8 – WWII – 100 (7th Exercise)
  9. GATE 9 – Derkens – 30 (9th Exercise)
  10. GATE 10 – Irkens – 50 (8th Exercise)

  • Praise for Mayhem’s step son employment
  • Prayers for Aquaman and his mother’s passing
  • Prayers for Minnesota Fats employee who passed
  • Prayers for Fruity Pebbles’ family friend who was in a car accident
  • Mayhem brought up prayers for YHC concerning the fact that this will be the first Thanksgiving since losing my father in September.  He also had some great comments/stories about my father as well.  It really meant a lot.
