The Thang

Pax moseyed to the parking lot.  A FTT version of the Beast.  We ran to 25yd, 50yd, 75yd and 100yd mark.  Each stop, except at 100yd mark, 6 reps of a exercise then run to next mark.  Exercises were jump squat, merkin, mountain climber, lunge, WW2, shoulder taps.  We repeated this once.

We then moseyed to the hill.  Performed Jacob’s Ladder.  Starting at the bottom of the hill, we sprint/jog to top, do 1 burpee, then jog down.  Next time up, 2 burpees.  We went to 3 burpees then moseyed to the tennis court.

Did some 4 corners.  Each corner a exercise.  Exercises were 20 merkins, 30 lbc, 10 ww2, 30 mountain climber.  Long length of court we did Wojo’s, bear crawl the short end, sprint long end and finished with bear crawl and 15 merkins.  Mosey to the tunnel of love.

We bear crawled the length of tunnel and back.  Then people’s chair as 1 pax at a time runs to corner of tunnel and back, then next pax runs.  Did the same for balls to the wall.  Moseyed to the pirate.

We partnered up, 1 pax amrap leg raises the other runs the stairs.  We did this for 3 rotations.  Moseyed to the stadium flag poles.

We gathered around the center plaque.  Formed a circle and got in high plank.  Started with 5 merkins then side shuffle a few steps then did another merkin variation for 5 reps each.  We did this until we returned to our original start point.  Went to nearby wall afterwards.

Did people’s chair while a pax ran around the flag poles and back then next pax runs.  We alternated legs for 1 leg people’s chair.  Then hold balls to the wall.  Starting at end 1 pax does 5 shoulder taps then next pax.

Finished with about 2 minutes of mary.

It’s days like today that remind me why I do F3.  It was cold and damp this morning.  If I was going to exercise on my own there is no way I would have had the motivation to get out of bed.  As I sit here writing this backblast, my aching body and muscles let me know I did the right thing.  Thank you brothers.
