After Monday and Tuesday Rucking PT, I was beat. I thought it would be nice to stroll through Greenville just carrying my pack to gain some discomfort from miles. Asked the Grow Ruck team if there were any who wanted to go with me. I also put it out to the Pax. A few maybe’s and a definite confirm from Goose. We had 9 guys! I pulled up at Harris Teeter around 0435 and recognized cars, but no guys. A few started at 0420 to get in some extra credit. I planted a shovel flag. Slowly but surely, the others arrived.

The Thang
Reverse the loop Mellow Johnny put together for December 29th Ruck. We took off at 0503 and finished at 0731. Total Distance for me 10.02 miles with a 14’45 pace. Others got more mileage, but we all shuffled (more than most wanted) thanks to Goose and MJ.

How does one talk for 2.5 hours? Only Mellow Johnny can answer that! Others spoke, but mainly to acknowledge the bacon smell from Egg Yolk and the BBQ from Sam Jones. Matlock asked if anyone stepped in Dog Poop because he smelled *&% for the last mile. Beans, Shart, or BO no one admitted to the source.
