After attending the workouts at DFS last week I knew that I needed to step my game up for this Monday to ensure a quality workout for the PAX that would on one hand suck and on the other hand be just right for me to modify a little and keep up with the PAX. The days of YHC being on the sidelines are over and I am ready to be back 100% but for now about 80% would have to do. I decided to use a workout I came up with last year called the Tour De France. I originally did this the day after the Paris attacks hence the name. It is pretty simple and would be easy for me to keep up with the PAX. I did change a couple of small things like changing the run portions from a mosey to a jailbreak. This helped to be sure that it would bring the level of suck the PAX deserved. After the Pax were all in place I introduced myself and gave a disclaimer. Off we went.

Warm Ups:

Arm and Leg Stretches-15ct each

SSH-20ic

Arm Circles-15 forward ic, 15 backward ic

Good Mornings-15ic

The Thang:

In the future this routine will be called the Pirate Chase but for today it was still the Tour De France. It is pretty simple. From the flag the Q picked a spot aprox 100yds away. When the Q said go everyone would race to that location with the winner being able to pick the exercise for that spot. Today is the 8th day of the 8th month so all exercises would have 16 reps. Once the exercise was completed by all the Q would pick the next spot to run to and the same rules as the first time would apply. This would take place over and over until a lap of the entire athletic complex had been completed. I mentioned to the Pax that at the halfway point we could cut it short as we would be near the flag if time was running short. This was always the case before when we moseyed to each spot instead of running. Today there was no need to cut it short as the pace was a lot faster. In fact I had to call a small audible halfway around to slow us down just a bit. The audible sucked to so no one was short changed. Arsenio, PDoc, Skipper and Wapner one pretty much most of the legs around the track and where in charge of the beat down at each stop. Exercises performed were Merkins, Burpees ic, Jump Squats, Jump Lunges, Peter Parkers, Mountain Climbers, Dips, Squats, chill cut back to plank, and I think a couple more that I forgot but being as most days I struggle with my own name yall are lucky I remembered that much. The halfway audible was a round of eights on the tennis court hill with squats at the top and bottom followed by a Belding style stroll through the breezeway with lunges and exercises at every other sidewalk crack. YHC called the exercises in the breezeway which were merkins, hallelujahs, squats, WWI situps and WWII situps (16 each of course). Once we made it back to the flag five minutes of Mary was called out by the Pax which included flutterkicks, merkins, WWII situps and point to the sky (I hope this is the right name if not PDoc will correct me as it was something he brought to the table).

Prayers and praises were given and YHC prayed us out.

Thanks to all the PAX today for pushing me and letting me know at the end that a quality suck had been brought.
