When YHC took the Q for this week, I certainly didn’t expect us to be rucking through a frog strangler! But hey, the show must go on! F3 marches on in the gloom – rain or no rain. YHC rolled in to Alice Keene Park as Duff, Spinal Tap, and Joker (including his two 4-legged buddies) were finishing up their EC. The rest of the PAX rolled in just before 0530, the disclaimer was given and off we went.

Da THANG:
From the flag, several coupons (2 sand sausages, a weighted bucket, and an extra ruck) were distributed amongst the PAX, and we took a quick mosey around the walking trail to the back parking lot.

First exercise was BLIMPS, starting at one end of the lot and going to the other end and back for each exercise:
Burpees x5
Lunges x10
Imperial Walkers x15
Merkins x20
Plank Jacks x25
Squats x30

From the parking lot, we continued our mosey along the walking trail to the back soccer field where we circled up and used the rucks for weights:
Overhead presses x15
Tricep extensions x15
Bicep curls x15

Back on the trail we moseyed back around to the parking lot for a second round of BLIMPS. Same format and number of reps.

To finish up, we moseyed back the way we started and circled up at the flag right at 0615.

MOLESKIN
Wet doesn’t even begin to describe the conditions! Lots of mumblechatter about the rain, but like true HIMs, the PAX all pressed on like it won’t no thang but a chicken wang! YHC really enjoys these ruck workouts, not only for the quality beatdown but the 2nd F of moseying along as a group, learning about your fellow brothers, pushing each other through, and supporting each other – whether that’s taking a coupon off your brother’s back or just giving a good word of encouragement! Iron sharpens iron! Aye!
