When I first received a text from Skipper about leading this workout, I wasn’t’ sure that I wanted to miss Spin Cycle’s workout that has been beating me up over the last few weeks. I didn’t respond back immediately as I was very torn on what to do. After pondering over it for a day or two, I thought about how much I missed leading the workouts. After having blastoff for the last nine months, I am looking forward to leading at all the different sites. And what better site to begin than my old stomping grounds, JH Rose High School. I told Skipper I would lead and I knew exactly what I was going to have in store for the PAX. I was so fired up that I forgot to set me alarm the night before. If it wasn’t for a phone call from Shrimp, the site would have been left Qless. The plan was in tact and I sped to Rose to get the flag planted and get the is group off and running at 5:30. Here is how it went down:

I have to say after being an AO for nine months I thought I was enjoying not having to plan another workout for a little while. When Skipper asked me to Q I really didn’t want to and I am glad I took a couple of days to think about it. It is amazing how you can work so long and see great results and then a couple days or weeks off and it’s like starting over again. I have gained weight and was sort of going through the motions over the last few weeks. I thankfully realized the extra effort you give as a Q and that was what I needed to get back on track. I look forward to doing each site in the coming months and rotating around. I challenge those PAX who have only Q’ed a few times or those who haven’t at all. It is a great experience and it will push you to another level. There is something special about leading a special group of men for 45 minutes and feeling the pain and the sense of accomplishment when it is complete. Thanks Skipper for telling me that I had Thursday morning #rush
