The goal of this workout was for each PAX member to get a little taste of being in the middle of the COP and going through calling out the exercise, getting PAX in the starting position move, stating “In Cadence”, finally counting the cadence. 

3 of spades was pulled first (20 squats), then of course Forrest had to pull a running card.  Ace was pulled so we took off backwards from each of our bases to the outfield fence and ran backwards back to our base.  Then 2 of clubs (10 SSH in 4 count), 5 of hearts (15 merkins).  Here is where Landlord (Double Respect) thought it would be a good idea to do a 4 count of merkins, so we ended up doubling the merkins.  After the merkins, 7 of spades (20 lunges), 2 of diamonds (5 SSH in 4 count), and another Ace was pulled.  So off took the PAX, running backwards to the outfield fence and back.  There was some mumblechatter this time, not sure it was all positive!  If running backwards wasn’t enough, then the Queen of spades was pulled which meant crab walk.  We quickly shortened the crab walk from two bases to one base, lot of cheering from the PAX on this decision.  Following the crab walk, 4 of hearts (15 WWI situps), and finally a much needed break, a 3 of diamonds (5 squats).  Jack of spades was next and much to the disdain of the PAX, we stuck to two bases for the bear crawl.  Last group started to pull cards, first the 4 of clubs (10 WWI situps) and another Ace so once again we trotted backwards to the outfield fence.  I know for a fact this time it wasn’t positive mumblechatter.  Last two cards were a 6 of clubs (10 plank jacks in 4 count) and finally YHC pulled a King of hearts (lap around the baseball field).

The PAX regrouped at the flag.  IPC week 2 is tomorrow at Splashing Woodies.  One group will do IPC while another group will go for a run.  My Pleasure was thanked for the wonderful chicken biscuits and coffee on Saturday.

Prayers for Scappy’s grandmother, and a bunch of other PAX members who are sick/injured (Viking, WatchDog, Mule, and Mulligan).
