Weather was awesome, about 86 degrees. YHC’s Dad tried to help the night before with my Weinke, but YHC told him to go to bed and YHC was going to handle it myself. YHC was a little nervous at the start of the morning, but once we got going my nerves went away.

The Thang

• We started with 30 Hallaluhas IC
• 25 Side straddle hops IC

We moseyed to Hill

We did a 1-9 Set up OYO
– We started with 1 Merkin at the top and 9 World War 2 Situps at the bottom
– Then we worked our count from 1 to 9, and 9 to 1.

We then moseyed to Mt. Murphy. YHC did take my Dad’s advice and dropped my initial 10 sets down to 5. Probably a good idea.

– We did 5 sets up and down the stairs
– 5 squats at the top and 5 squats at the bottom
– We ran these in two groups so we didn’t get in each other’s way.

We moseyed to the benches.
– The exercise we did was
– 5 Burpies
– Then 10 dips
– And then we did 15 Step ups each leg OYO.
– Rinse and repeat three times.
– Al Gore to the sixth.
– Well actually four times, because I lied a little and made us do one more
with a little change. Game time decision:

– We did: 10 Merkins
15 Dips
20 Step ups each leg

We then moseyed to the nearby Meadow where we did a variation of Jacobs Ladder.

– We started at the first lamp post and did 2 Merkins. OYO
– At the second light post we did 4 squats.
– At the third light post we did 8 Merikins.
– At the fourth we did 16 Squats.
– At the fifth we did 32 Merkins.
– Finished with a plank until the sixth.

At this point another game time decision.

– Changed the last one from 64 squats, to 32 squats due to time running out.

Finished by Moseying back to the Circle

– We did one more excercise.
– Dying Cockroaches IC.

a. Prayer request: Hoping Rev’s sister continues to get better. Steamy asked for safe travels for Light Bulb’s trip to Disney. Keep his wife in your thoughts for her new job. Rev asked to keep the college students in our prayers for a tough week of exams. Scully asked for prayers. Pray for Cold Cut’s niece batteling cancer. Mr. Belding asked for us to keep one of the teachers at his work in our thoughts because he was having stints put in. Cold Cut asked to pray for his Ad Min Assitant because she had a heart attack. Rev’s asked to keep his brother in our prayers because he was going in for an important job interview. Rev also asked for us to pray for a worker in his church that was very sick. And please pray for any that I have forgotten but were in our thoughts.

MOLESKIN
I was feeling good about throwing up my arm and volunteering at the Wednesday workout, until I realized what I had done. I was very nervous about leading a group of men. But once I got out there and started going my nerves calmed down I got a big energy boost and was able to finish the workout strongly. It gave me a really positive feeling the rest of the day.
