It was a chilly morning in the Gloom on the day before Thanksgiving.  Was hoping for a good turnout for those PAX wishing to make an investment before that big Thanksgiving dinner.  PAX starting arriving at a brisk pace and we had the dirty dozen ready to get moving.

The Thang

Moseyed around the track to the first intersection and laid on the Pax the plan.  Strokes had gifted me the F3 Workout Deck for my birthday and I was excited about the opportunity to beat the PAX down with them.  My version of this was to stack the deck with high number cards, face cards, and jokers.  Number cards were what they were.  Each face card was worth 25 of the exercise.  2 Jokers were included at 11 Burpees each.  Aces were 100 reps of the exercise.

At each intersection, a member of the PAX would draw 3 cards and the group would perform them back to back to back.  We would then mosey to the next intersection with a rinse and repeat.  Highlights included Tonka’s demo of the 10 of Clubs Rosalita exercise, now forever burned into our eyes and brains.  I went ahead and changed the card to Tonkalita because that exercise will never be the same.  The 25 Burpee Queen of Hearts drew a WTF from Tonka (among others).  Mumblechatter was strong over many topics included Sex Ed via Tonka and Aquaman, although the 25 Burpees did suppress it momentarily.  Ended up with 8 Stops @ 3 Draws each for 24 Exercises and 2 laps around BLP.  Moseyed to the flag and that was it.

This beatdown to me was what is so good about F3 and about why I am so thankful for it.  Men working hard, but laughing and enjoying being guys and getting through it together.  I have many things to be grateful for this Thanksgiving and this is definitely one of them.
