At about 9:30 Thurs night while out celebrating my son’s 17th birthday I received an inbox from Noonan reminding me I had the Q at First Aid Friday morning.  At that point of the night while patiently waiting for our food to come out there was little I could do to protest.  With no plan but feeling I need to get some leg work in before the week ran out,  I came up with A quick MSU workout.

Warm Up:

Right over Left leg stretch for 10 count  reverse  Left over Right for 10 count

Side straddle Hops x20

Good Mornings  x 15

The Thang:

Mosey over to College Hill for a round of 11’s consisting of step ups and fatboy pull ups at Gateway Residence Hall. Planked for the 6.

Mosey down to the steps in front of cafeteria for 4 rounds of 10 Mericans by the cafeteria  and 10 WW 2’s on the on the other side of the street in front of Jones redsidence hall.

Followed by a Mosey back to Williams stairway for 5 trips up and down the stair ways with a 2 burpee chaser after each round.

Once again I appreciate the opportunity to Q.  The day before all day long I had been reminded of my age.  Along with my son’s birthday I found out earlier in the day a friend whom I had recently reconnected  passed away from a heart attack the week before at the age of 47.  I was taken aback by his death.  I was surprised I mourned as much for him as I did.  Lifestyle was probably the main contributing factor in his demise.  It made me regret I never told him about F3 like a couple friends did for me.  The workout gave me a renewed sense of purpose and put my feet back under me.   It also reminded me though life is short and I’m in a different season of life than just a few short years ago I’m going to do this thing as long I’m able.
