Yhc enjoys Qing #TheCollardPatch so when Pothole was asking for some Q’s, yhc was happy to get a date set.  As yhc pulled in the park, Rafiki approached and said that we had a brother who was homeless under the shelter with his dogs.  Initally, the weinke had a lot of the workout under the shelter, nonetheless, audibles had to be called.  IT pulled in and was worried that we had a bunch of coupons to carry, Grammar suggested that if we had to run around the track, just run fast to avoid the dogs.  Pax circled up, disclaimer given….

  • Indian Run w/ rocks down to the end of the front parking lot.
  • South Pacific Challenge
    • V-Ups w/ rocks – 10 OYO – then sprint to the opposite end of lot and mosey back
    • Globe Hoppers w/ rocks – 20 IC – Back peddle to the end of the lot and mosey back
    • Mosey to the football field bench w/ rock – Bulgarian split squats with rock overhead- 30 OYO (15 each leg) – Karaoke to opposite sideline and karaoke back
    • Shoot the Rock – 20 OYO – Sprint to opposite sideline, then bear crawl back
    • Gorrilla Burpees – 10 OYO (yhc didn’t hear what was said, but it was definitely “mumble”)
  • Mosey back to the end of parking lot.
    • Overhead Presses – 10 IC
    • Curls for the girls – 10 IC
    • Crescent/Chair – 10 IC
    • Tricep Extensions – 10 IC
    • Recovery mosey to the end of parking lot and back for second round of South Pacific Challenge.  Grammar had mentioned that we needed to do some Dora’s for Cousin IT, so another audible was about to be called.
  • South Pacific Challenge (Round 2)
    • V-Ups – 10 OYO – then sprint to the opposite end of lot and mosey back
    • Globe Hoppers – 20 IC – Back peddle to the end of the lot and mosey back
    • Mosey to the football field bench w/ rock and partner up.  Dora consists of arm, core and leg excercises, so the Bulgarian split squat with rocks was modified to Bulgarian split squat with overhead rock press.
      • 100 Bulgarian Split Squats with Overhead Rock Press –  P1 did the squats, P2 karaoke to and back the opposite sideline.  Flapjack.
  • Mosey back to the rock pile and on the the flag, right at 6:14

Moleskin – Many of us are fighting some sort of battle in our lives today.  And as yhc was thinking about the homeless brother that found shelter under the shelter and in his car, yhc reflected on how too many times we take for granted the blessings we have.  Shelter, food, clothes, family, you name it.  Count your blessings every day, name them one by one, and see what God has done.  Jason is this brother’s name, pray for him as he is going through tough times.  Lend a hand when you can, and let God shine!
