“Sure, be glad too”, as I accepted Fruity Pebble’s request. I know exactly how it can be when a slump of a season is happening and it’s tough getting men committing to attend or Q. I enjoy the 3 F’s being experienced. Even had one of those I called out to attend, thanks Rafiki. But that one, he is scheduled at Eagle’s Ridge next week. Got there early enough to plant Old Glory and see an old bearded goomer pacing around the parking lot. I started to reach for something only to find my glasses, then saw it was Patch getting some EC (he was missing somebody).
Went like this: Monkey Humping position to stretch, then left and right with our legs; Abe Vigoda’s (slow Don Quixote’s); Good Mornings; SSH.
Suicide Bear Crawls 40 yards, one Burpee and repeat Bear Crawl back.
‘Men-Makers’: (with 30 pounds, start with Merkin, into a Burpee, into a Merkin, Bear Crawl 5 paces. Repeat until 5 Burpees completed). PAX beside the lead keep up with him doing Lunges with Hallelujahs. Everyone has a turn and rotates. At the end of each having a turn, a PAX led in WWII’s……Rinse Repeat. At the end, a PAX led in WWI’s.
‘The Possum’ was completed for a 20 count for rest. Moved to curbing for 3 rounds of Butkis. Spinal Tap seemed to enjoy the trilogy of comedy at that end of the Curbing. Fruity and Rafiki would have to step it on up. Phrase of the day, “Only Pussies wear band-aids”. Rest was comprised of Irkin like planks, with variations.
Circle Merkins: all down on 1, next-1-2, next 1-3 until at least 55 completed. (some counter kept up, go figure)
Back to the still green grass for some good old Tire flipping. 10 Flips per Pax while the rest stayed behind side by side doing Squat-Allujahs. When the Flipper completed, the Squat line would move up and rotate Flipping Fun (Good Form). Encouraged each along the way to keep up with counting, cause the Q kicked and took names. Rinse Repeat. (we each kicked and took names, truth be told)
