Grammar didn’t know what he was doing when he asked me last week to Q today, but it would have been a tempting AO to skip since I’m packing up the Popeye clan after work to head to the beach. Alas, no such respite for Popeye. Can’t fartsack when you’re the Q. At least not if you ever want to show your face again.

Warmup:
Don Quixote x15
Side-Straddle Hops x15

Round the Way:
Circle the track, stopping at intersections
First stop, Merkins x15 OYO
Second stop, Werkins x15 OYO
At shelter, Foot-release squats x15 OYO
Step-ups x15 each leg OYO

The 100:
Mosey to the rock pile, pick a rock, pick a partner
First partner runs with rock to the brush line and back
Second partner does exercises with rock, then switch
Complete a total of 100 each Curls, Hallelujahs, Tricep Extensions

Staggered Merkins with one hand on rock, 15 each side, in cadence

Mosey back to the shelter for Picnic Table Sit-ups, 15 in cadence
At this point everybody chipped in with 5 Burpees on account of Cold Cut showing up about halfway into the AO

Mosey to the flag
Sprint down, 10 squats, lunge back
Karaoke down and back
Bear crawl down, sprint back

Mary
V-Ups x20 (Grammar)
American Hammer x15 (Gazelle)
Flutter Kicks x15 (Cold Cut)
Windshield Wipers x15 (Mayhem)
Merkins x15

COT: Mayhem’s son in boot camp, 12-year-old All Stars in Southeast Regionals (Wimpie), Gazelle’s van, Mugsy at driver’s ed (and Cousin It!), Popeye travel mercies and patience with a house full of kids, Mario continued recovery

Moleskin: The biggest group of PAX that I’ve led as the Q, a great showing on a strangely cool late-July morning. Just really privileged and appreciative of this group of guys showing up and helping keep me on track.

P.S. I know at least two of y’all had to trade out for a smaller rock, so … Mission Accomplished. But not Gazelle, he stuck it out with his boulder: T-claps!
