YHC was excited to Q this morning, as this was my first time Qing at BLP. When Patch asked me to Q last week, I couldn’t say no. YHC pulled up around 5:15 with 2 other PAX already there waiting by the flag. Then Patch and Bono came up after finishing up an EC Ruck. We prayed, and then got ready for a beatdown. 13 PAX total, including an FNG. So the disclaimer was given, and then we were off.
Warm Up
- SSH – 22 IC (22 would be a theme since the Pirates lost by 22)
- Good Mornings – 22 IC
- Michael Phelps – 4 IC (for the 4 total losses by ECU)
- Hallelujahs – 22 IC
- Indian run to the back playground and then back to the bathrooms
The Thang
PAX Partnered up for the first part of the beatdown. Partner 1 would run to the light pole, do 22 squats, and then run back, while Partner 2 would hold Balls To The Wall (Peoples chair as a modifier since it was pretty difficult to hold BTTW for that long). Then switch. We did 4 rounds of this with the following exercises
- Squats
- LBCs
- Merkins
- Squats
Plank for the 6
Mosey to the picnic tables for some 11s. Dips and Super Step Ups were called. Al Gore for the 6.
Mosey back to the flag, and line up for 4 rounds of Carolina Choo Choo
YHC then realized we were running a little early, so I decided to throw in two rounds of Bear Crawls. Bear Crawl to the 2nd tree, and mosey back.
Then we had about 7 minutes of Mary, with PAX choice of Mary exercises (Plank, Freddie Mercury’s, J-Lo’s, American Hammers, and Flutter Kicks)

Announcements
- Several Q’s coming up this week. If you haven’t had a chance to Q, give it a try!
Moleskin:
Thanks Patch for the opportunity to Q, This was my third time Qing, and I learn something new each time. As with this workout, I didn’t really have a plan in place if we ran short, so I had to improvise at the end. I am one that hates to be ill-prepared, so I will certainly take this into account for my next Q (which is this Friday at First-Aid by the way, come on out!). I’m really learning a lot from F3 and can’t wait to see what the future holds.
Chimi Out!
