Quick lube asked YHC to Q today’s workout at last week’s PAX lunch and I guess I was so distracted by the delicious burger at the Blackened Kraken that I agreed and then quickly forgot. Thanks to a friendly reminder yesterday from Quick lube I was able to throw something together that would hopefully challenge the PAX. Having such an amazing experience with the Sasquatch last weekend, YHC wanted the PAX that could not participate in the event to at least get the highlights of that fateful day. It went a little something like this….

Warm-up:

Good morning IC x15

SSH IC x20

Slow Merkins IC x 10

The THANG:

1/4 mile around the track to the pull-up bars (plank for the six)

Line up at the fence and begin 7’s with Agitators and Burpees. Perform 1 Agitator (2 180 degree jump squats) then mosey to the opposite fence and do 6 burpees, repeat until 6 and 1. (Started out easy on the PAX. It could’ve been 11’s)

Plank for the six then mosey another 1/4 mile around track to opposite side of the track. (option was given to cut between softball fields)

Circle up to perform 3 rounds of Wimpie Legs:

10 jump squats, 10 lung jumps, 10 mule kicks= 1 round

Line up in two lines for Indian run 1/4 mile around the track to same area as before and line up on the fence. SIDE NOTE: the PAX may need an entire 45 minute workout on how to properly conduct an Indian run, but that’s just YHC’s personal opinion.

On the fence, Plank Jacks IC x20, then bear crawl to opposite fence. Mosey back to original fence and do Mountain Climbers IC x20.

Two lines again for Indian run 1/4 mile around the track to playground. (PAX did a little better with the run this time)

Once at the playground, perform 5 rounds of modified Cindy

1 round= 5 pull-ups, 10 irkins (shelter), 15 box jumps (or 30 step ups under shelter)

Plank for the six with variation lead by Cousin IT. Mosey to backstop fence and hold people’s chair while waiting for the six.

Hold people’s chair and each PAX does a 5 count, down and back (a little mumble chatter when we reversed the count)

Mosey back to the flag and plank for the six

Prayer Requests:

Cousin IT: new foster children and family vacation this week

Stitches: M waiting to hear about job

Stretch: friends trying to have kids undergoing embryo procedure

Sarge:  having surgery next Wednesday

Announcements:

Cousin IT is on vacation. DO NOT BE ALARMED when he doesn’t post the rest of the week.

Moleskin:

YHC really had a lot of fun this morning with the PAX. I was definitely couch Q’ing last night, and this morning’s workout turned out to be more challenging than expected, but It was great to see each and every PAX member push themselves every single minute. Saturday’s Sasquatch was a really inspirational and motivating experience for YHC. I hope that anyone that couldn’t participate has gotten something out of the amazing posts that have been shared by the PAX this week. Again, GREAT work by the PAX this morning.
