29 PAX showed up early to the First Born Community Development Center in Grimesland to get a “Choose Your Fix” Beatdown courtesy of the of F3ENC’s finest; Arkansas, Short Stop and YHC. 0600 approached and the PAX divided up into their workout groups and we were off and things went a little like this;

Boot Camp (Short Stop with the Q)

Warmup

25 SSH IC
Arm burners 10 front, back, seal claps, hallelujahs IC
15 Copperhead Squats on my down
Tha Thang
Goal was to get to 5000 combined reps for Feed the 5000.  Also wanted to focus on exercises that will occur at the KInston 12 Days of Christmas CSUAP!
5 PAX posted.  With 90’s rock blaring on speaker we got to work.
Two groups, one grouped ran while the other did reps.  After 100 yards, groups switched!
First round – Each PAX had to get 200 merkins, total of 1000 for the group.
Second round –  Each PAX had to get 200 squats, total of 1000 for the group.
Third round – combined big boy sit-ups with lunges instead of running. One group lunged while one did big boy sit-ups.  Each PAX performed 200 reps of big boy sit-ups and 200 lunges.   Combined 1000 for each exercise.
Now we are at 4000 reps.  So last round.  Each PAX bear crawled 160 yards and did 40 burpees.  So a combined 800 yards of bear crawls and 200 burpees.
We finished up the same time as the runners and ruckers finished.
Good job, each PAX got a 1000 reps in this morning for a combined 5000.
Run (Arkansas with the Q)
Today Myself, Silverback, Half-Pipe, Red Box, and Monty Python all ran about 6.5 miles through the streets of Grimesland. And…..that about sums it up. Obviously, Arkansas is a man of few words and short shorts ;)
Ruck (Stabler with the Q)
14 ruckers took off at 0600 and made a right out of the parking lot of the development center. Obviously this was the workout to go to as attendance was greater with the bad boy Ruckers. We traveled roughly 1 mile down a very sketchy road and ended up at the Grimesland Community Park (only Skynyrd knew that this thing was even there). First exercise was a little 4 Corners fun around the block surrounding the park.
Corner 1- 15 Squirrels led by YHC
Corner 2- 15 Thrusters led by Noonan
Corner 3- 15 Ruck swings led by Patch
Corner 4- 15 Tricep extensions led by Skynyrd
After the 4 Corners, PAX  partnered-up for a little Dora 1-2-3. At one end of the parking lot, partner A would begin a series of exercises while partner B would run to the other end of the street (about 60yards) and back. Partners would flapjack until all exercises were complete (all with ruck on);
100 Merkins
200 LBCs
300 Squats
Running a bit short on time, YHC knew he could not disappoint so grabbed a patch of grass where all PAX would bearcrawl (roughly 25 yards) to the fence and then crabwalk back. A quick 1 mile mosey back to the flag right at 0700 (total of 3 miles) for COT
Prayer Requests
– Patch’s M and her recovery
– Prayers of the Feed the 5000 event and those families we were helping
– Candy Cane
– Praise to Robbie Taylor and his commitment to this event
Great turnout for the convergence and an even better turnout for the actual event. It was great to take part in this and see so many Ms and 2.0s take part as well. So many families benefited from this and it truly showed how F3 can be such a powerful leader in the community. YHC was very thankful for the opportunity to lead and to just witness such a great thing today. TClaps to all involved! Until next time…
