YHC got the tweet from Thee Hot Spot while DR and said yes. That’s what you do when asked to Q (unless you have another HC that prevents it). In thinking about how to serve the Pax YHC felt a lot of confusion. More on that later. Reviewed some backblasts, old Wienke’s (watch it) and came up with a plan. The sky was beginning to lighten as YHC headed for the 116. Planted a flag and we were off like a dirty shirt.

Prayer requests for Guliani’s mother and hip replacement, those who are dealing with the holidays and the passing of loved ones, Pax and family members who are feeling under the weather, M’s who are recovering from surgeries and illness. Convergence at BLB 1/1/18 followed by flag football. Bring an FNG. Rafiki is the new Site Q for Westside Story, Stern is taking on Site Q for Build Up. Pax Stepping Up! Farmville lauches 1/6 and 1/13 Highway clean up.

YHC needed this Q. Needed to serve the Pax and the Pax returned the favor. Here lately YHC has been wrestling with the demons that always return and try to take up residence in the house where they once lived. Anger, doubt, fear. Rage. YHC has been fighting them and others over the last few weeks. YHC doesn’t ask for prayers. This morning was different and it is needed. See there’s something about “not being the same as when you found me” that happens over time if you post enough. In F3 Pax are likely to say “Get comfortable with being uncomfortable”. There are times, unexpected times, when we all will have to be uncomfortable. Isolation and attempting to power through it alone seemed to work for YHC for a long time until it didn’t. YHC doesn’t know what’s next and how things will work out but this much is TRUTH. When the Sifter is shaking look around and see who’s there then reach out to them. The truth of F3 shouldn’t be something we just talk about as a metaphor but a real way for men to forge a path of meaning through the changes that are inevitable in life. YHC is very uncomfortable right now and it’s okay because that’s supposed to happen. It means that the rock is moving uphill and the strain felt is because this is new territory. YHC cannot stay on familiar ground and grow to be the true servant he is meant to be. Thanks for the push this morning men it was needed and thanks Underdog for the shoulder tap.
