The time had finally come for YHC to pass the reigns of the MASH site to another PAX member. It had been discussed and decided weeks before today that Hat Trick was the obvious choice and would take this AO to the next level. YHC contacted HT over the weekend to see if this Monday was good for one last Q. He agreed, and it was time to put the PAX to work. YHC arrived at 0520 to an empty lot, soon to have Stitches roll up and the 3 or 4 musketeers come running up from Skipper’s place. The rest of the PAX would arrive minutes later to a brisk morning full of a little uncertainty but a lot of hope for a good beat down. No FNGs, No disclaimer.

Warm-Up:

Good Mornings IC x10, Burpees OYO x10, SSH IC x15, Merkins OYO x10

2 Trips up and down Mt. Murphy, split the PAX into two groups.

The THANG:

2 groups head in opposite directions around the stadium (Indian Run) to meet at the playground behind the score board.

At the playground: 1/2 CINDY- AMRAP in 10 mins (1 round = 5 pullups, 10 merkins, 15 squats)

A lot of mumble chatter just a few minutes into this one. Tater was reminded early on by Tonka that the ruck workout was an option- too late now. Sorry Tater.

After 10 minutes (and a lot of groaning), mosey back to Minges entrance directly across from Mt. Murphy. Partner up for Dora 123. (100 merkins, 200 WW2s, 300 squats as a team).

Pt. 1 starts exercises while Pt. 2 runs to the top of Mt. Murphy (stairs) and back.

With just about 5 mins left, back to SF for Mary.

American Hammers IC x 15, Flutter Kicks IC x 15, finish with 15 Burpees OYO.

Prayer Requests:

Cousin IT’s mother and her health issues, Peaches co-worker with the loss of his father, Tater’s co-worker and loss of 7 month old child.

Mole skin:

The last 7 or so months as Site Q for the stadium have been very rewarding for YHC. It has allowed me to meet new PAX and explore an AO in depth that I might not have taken advantage of in my Boyd Lee Park comfort zone. This is the start of a lot of changes for YHC and family over the next couple of months. With a new job this month and our first baby on the way, there have definitely been some nerves and still are. One thing I know for sure is that I am truly thankful for the brotherhood of F3 and each of the PAX that have come out to support MASH. Hat trick is poised to continue to grow the AO, and I can’t wait to see the great things are in store for our region in the upcoming season.
