7 Pax showed for Ruck U on Saturday morning.  Between Bush, Mellow Johnny and Hurricane we ended up with 5 sand bags between 40-80lbs.  It was a pick your poison type of situation.  I always think the more weight the better for the ruck workout.  We grabbed the bags and headed to the main, downtown parking deck.  We went to the top, dropped the bags and circled up.  We did a round of overhand claps to warm up a bit.

We then had 2 pax grab a sand bag each.  They would head down the deck by the ramps and then back up by the steps.  While the 2 pax were going up and down the deck the rest were exercising.

Round 1:  merkins and plank jacks

Round 2: Squats

Round 3: Flutters with rucks overhead

Round 4: Ruck Curls

Round 5: People’s Chair while passing sand bag back and forth.

Round 6: Alternate between over hand claps and hallelujahs.

We grabbed the bags headed back down to the bottom and over to Death Valley.  There we did a round of 7s that involved plank jacks and overhead presses.

Then it was back to the start point.  We made it back just in time.

Great workout by everyone.  It was a strong group to workout with and all the pax pushed hard.  Psycho said it was much more enjoyable than when he was in the military and was forced to ruck.  Hurricane said he felt like a tropical depression after the workout.
