When I got to the workout I had a great plan.   We had 2 80lb sandbags and 2 60lb sandbags.  We were going quickly ruck to the Twin Towers area with the 2 sets of steps on either side of the building.  Once we got there we were going to have a little competition and PT.  With my lack of knowledge of the ECU campus, a little miscommunication, and where I wanted to workout being locked up we had to have a change of plans.  We instead headed to the Technology building.  Once we arrived we counted off and divided up into 2 teams.  Each team would have 2 pax competing.  One pax carrying to 80lb sandbag and one pax carrying the 60lb sandbag.  The pax for each team would head off in the opposite direction and climb the stairs to the top floor head across the breezeway and back down to the start point.  The winning team got to pick the exercise for the pax not racing.  We first did People’s Chair, curls and chest presses and flutter kicks.  One pax for each team went two times so everyone had a chance to go up and down the stairs. We then headed back to the commons and we made it back right on time.  Bono lead us out with a great prayer.

The Moleskine:

Thank to the patience and cooperation of the pax today.  In my head I had a solid plan.  It didn’t workout exactly right but we got in a good workout anyhow.  I think if we had just rucked around the downtown area with the sandbags it still would have been a solid workout.  Both sets of sandbags were a challenge to the pax.  Great workout by all the pax that came.  Looking foward to next Saturday morning.
