The Thang

Shared with the group that YHC is a pastor and that during this season, we are actually not in Christmas season, rather it is “Advent” in the Church calendar. And so for the workout, we started preparing for Christmas by going down the acrostic ADVENT.

A – Australian Snow Angels
D – Dancing Bears
V – Vertigos
E – Elf on the Shelf (using our rocks from earlier)
N – Never Cross Dolly
T – Tony Hawk Burpees

Ended the series by doing the “Little Merkin Boy” as we Planked and did Merkins while listening to “Little Drummer Boy” by For King and Country. We had fun holding it out for 4 min and 45 seconds.

We had a few minutes to spare, I asked Permit and Jackpot to pick and lead us, so we did Windshield Wipers and Squats.

And that was a wrap on my VQ!

By the end of the workout, we were all soaking wet and I or may not have given the guys vertigo with all of the spinning we did. Shout out to Jackpot for giving me the chance to hold my first Q, it was great experience! Only mishap was of course with the guy named Sound Bite, the Bluetooth speaker stopped working halfway through our song, but we rolled with it and played it straight from the phone.
