Ruck to the back soccer field where we would perform the “Manion” WOD
Run 400 meters (1 lap around the field) and perform 29 squats for 7 rounds
On April 29, 2007 Travis Manion was killed by an enemy sniper while attempting to rescue a fallen soldier..his sister Ryan created the WOD featuring his favorite exercise. The quads were engaged.
Ruck to the picnic area for an AMRAP up and over the benches and do a pull up at the top…. there wasn’t much complaining
Ruck to the adjacent parking lot for suicides at each handicap signs perform 3 Merkins and back petal back
Ruck back to the flag and circle up for PAX choice..the only stipulation was exercises had to be 7 or 29 reps..all was going well, Patch called out his signature Catalina wine mixers, others Merkins, American hammers and then YHC called on Grout who called 29 burpees..well shiver me timbers..the PAX gave it a good effort but thankfully it was 6:15
