YHC correspondent has now had two Headlocks applied.  The first by Tonka with the invite to F3.  The second by Grammar to do a VQ.  I’m not sure which was more nerve wracking to be honest.  I searched the Exicon and Backblasts for 3-4 days trying to come up with a good beatdown that would cause good leakage and good grumble chatter.  Sunday night I didn’t get much sleep due to nerves.  Should only be 10-12 Pax, so no biggie, right?  I get to BLP early and place the cones so it’s ready for the beatdown.  Then the Pax starts rolling in, and rolling in, and they continue to roll in.  Good grief!!! Thirty men show up to fight the Sad Clown.  Heaven help a VQ…and we get started!

The Warm-Up
– 15 SSH IC
– 15 Imperial Walkers IC
– 10 Up Downs – Q’s Call

At this point YHC thought the time would be up.  It wasn’t, so we went to MSU mode.  Suicides on the cone course X2.  Sprint the cone course X2.  Merkins at the fist stop, WW2 at the second, sprint back.  In honor of the man, the legend, Papa Smurf Jacks before Mary.

Mary to end – Flutter Kicks, Lying Hip Thrusters, Box Cutters, WWI’s, Slinkies (that really sucked, Bono) and end with Gitmo.

Moleskin
I have a heart for men’s ministry, which is funny since I am the youth leader at my church instead of heading up Men’s Ministry.  Regardless, I want to see men become the leaders that our world desperately needs. Imagine my surprise when I found F3 right in my backyard.  A group of men with the same hunger and desire.  To be the best brothers, husbands, fathers and community leaders we can be.  Thank you to men like Papa Smurf who led the way here in ENC.  I’m not sure if you knew what you were starting but I am so thankful you did.  Thank you to Tonka and Grammar for kicking me out of my rut and challenging me.  And thank you to the PAX.  As we lock shields we can make a difference in our communities, one family at a time.  This is making a difference in my life.  Thank you, men!
