So YHC was Q #CoopMile the week Hurricane Florence decided to come visit… Being the brilliant Site Q, Spalding is he rescheduled YHC for today. Had a simple plan in mind for the PAX to get miles and go the pace they wanted to without returning for the six. For those not named Abu (came up right after it was time to start) or Strokes (parked and started running at the same time, it was like he was running beside the Free Candy van while it was in motion), instructions were given to partner/group of someone of like pace.
The Thang
Leave #CoopMile, take a left onto Charles, then right onto Greenville Blvd, turn around 30 minutes in. If you return early, keep running back for the six.
YHC made it past Red Robin. Saw Gazelle turn by Cracker Barrel, but not sure which route he took back??? Spalding made it to McDonalds, just before Past Due which had to use the other sexes restroom.
YHC ended up running alone because didn’t want to go all out because of the event tomorrow, but thought other PAX were going to keep up. All sorts of thoughts come to mind while running and some never come out. If only Tonka would have been there, we could’ve talked the whole hour of running… One of the ideas was to have the PAX name their Strava route to the restaurant they turned around at!

YHC mentioned Darth Visor and his family/region again. It’s hard not to see Orange and immediately think of him, thanks Optimus for the reminder. It reminds us as YHC reminded the PAX, not to take ANY day for granted!

Awesome to have Bud-weis-er join this morning! Aquaman suggested he be Bullfrog, one of his best suggestions, but Bud wanted a new name (not that he had a choice, but…). Moses reminded us all of the Budweiser commercial with the Bullfrogs and it stuck. He is looking forward to returning to #CoopMile and also will be posting at #TheCommons!
It’s always enjoyable to Q because you get to lead and know the plan! YHC has and will Q several times with in about a months time. Was supposed to have tomorrow, but Good Samaritan start time conflicted. Come join YHC next week for #MASH, #RunStrong, & #TobaccoRoad!
