On a hectic week before the Blue Ridge Relay YHC would have to be crazy to to try to Q RunStrong, but at such an awesome AO anyone would be crazy to pass up the chance. With a little crazy energy around 19 PAX  including 1 FNG gathered for a running beat down. YHC encouraged the PAX to use their reason for posting to establish a goal for workout. A quick disclaimer so our FNG knows what he’s in for …YHC is still no where near a professional… and we’re off! Well, 10 burpies OYO …then we’re off!

Thang
Moseyed from ESP to the pirate statue at the stadium. At the benches we tried to mock the statue by holding the plank. Tossed in some irkins/derkins. Then moseyed to the corner of 10th and Elm st for G-String’s long distance light pole suicide up Elm with stacking sets of merkins thrown in to make sure Lachey and Spin Cycle got the burn they’ve been missing. As the time winds down PAX gathers back at the flag for a little more planking.

For all of us hard-charging leading the way guys and for all of us laid back go-with-the-flow guys our way will always be decided for us when we fail to set goals and make plans to achieve them. Often taking us down the wrong path. YHC asked the PAX to set goals for the workout, and worked to push pax though the workout to stay focused, push though, and press on. It may not to be possible to accurately guess the the reason your brother is posting beside you. It got him there. It is that he is there that maters. So many times we desired something. We would have like to gone to the workout, but fartsack, would have liked to have been the man that… but, but… It’s not much more than meaningless that we wanted something. It is commit to finding a way to get after what we want, then getting after it! It’s the work that maters. The work matters even more than actual achievement of the goal. Learned from a well coached little league team- we put in the work, we execute to the best of our abilities every day, then fully rely on god and keep faith in the larger plan. It not about our perfection, it’s about our progress. We put in the work and fully rely on God’s perfection. Press on brother! I’m proud of the work that you’ve put in. It’s been hard, but it was supposed to be. It will be hard again and completely worth it. For the workout, the hardest part is getting there. As for F3- you know your brothers will be there with you. SYITG!
