9/18, the morning had finally come to launch our newest AO in Ayden the Collard Patch. It had been a few weeks since Mayhem approached me about leading this workout, so when the time finally came I was ready to get this thing rolling. I got there early to plant the flag and hope most cars would see it and know where to park. I had come out the day before to map out the park and come up with a plan for this workout. Pleasantries were exchanged disclaimer was given for our 1 FNG and we were off:

Good Mornings-IC
Mustache Ride-IC
Split into two groups and each meet was a man date around the track for a total of 4 man dates. Each stop would add an exercise:
5 Burpees
10 Diamond Merkins
15 WW1’s
20 Burpees
Finish back at the flag for fan favorite Jack Webbs (1 Merkin-4 Hallelujiahs and finish at 10:40)

Next was Captain Thors (1 WW1-4 American Hammers. Much mumble chatter from our resident heckler who decided to join, so 5 burpees were thrown in the mix)

Then we were introduced to the finisher! I had come up with this before, but had not used it and with our resident heckler I figured what better way to introduce it then today. (1 burpee-4 merkins and finish at 5-20 due to time and noodle arms!)

This was a great start to an AO that has good potential. There is a lot to offer at this AO, and guys in the area need to check it out and see what F3 is all about. When Mayhem asked me to be Site Q, I had just passed Breakdown on to Battleship and the same day I was asked to lead Ayden. I was hesitant at first, but decided lets roll with it and build this thing up. I was glad to have 1 FNG (Tinder) there which happened to be my neighbor, but he teaches at Ayden Grifton High school. Hopefully he can begin to find guys along with Mr. Belding and get this site booming. As always great to hear from our resident heckler and great to see Mellow again.
