Yeah, Yeah, Yeah Abu.  I know I echoed the sentiment of Qing less and giving new guys the opportunity and then I went and Qd 2 times in a week.  In my defense, EB asked me Thursday afternoon to Q and I hadn’t been to the AO in almost 6 months so I felt obligated.  I have lost a considerable amount of strength due to the Forest Gump training this year so I was actually a little nervous about Qing this workout.  11 Total with one FNG (The Big Hurt) and a second timer (The Glove).

COT/BOM/Announcements

Moleskin

On the 1st F piece, I was very impressed with The Big Hurt showing up for his first time at BLB (one of our notoriously toughest workouts).  We typically don’t give awesome names like The Big Hurt but he played triple A ball for the White Sox and he was built like a Big Hurt, so it seemed fitting.  He almost got Bo Nose or Bo Knows but I didn’t want to get him mixed up with Bono.  Also, T-Claps to the glove for his first appearance at BLB and a great FB live video describing the experience.  T-Claps to the rest of the gang that fought hard today and also mumble chattered just as hard.  T-Claps to Boston Lager as well for pushing his limits on Front Squat and putting up some good heavy reps.

On the COT, Belding mentioned being intentional in all that we do.  As leaders, it is important that we are being purposeful in word and action.  It doesn’t always end the way we think it will but acting with purpose is far more powerful and floating around waiting for life to happen to you.
