YHC reached out to Abu a few weeks ago about the Q at #runstrong. Training for 1/2 marathon in November has made YHC find his running legs lately; it’s been a long, deep search but they’re coming along. With lots of options at his AO, YHC wanted to take advantage of some uncharted territory but that’s hard to find. Decided to split up and use multiple areas at once.

Warm Up

  • SSH x 10 IC

The Thang

Follow me. We gathered again at corner of 14th and Elm in gravel parking lot where we counted off in 3’s to get in 3 groups. Before instructions were given, each pax had a 5 burpee penalty (Wimpie must have been operating on Central Standard Time this morning).

  • Group 1 – Indian run to 10th and Elm, complete 20 merkins, run back OYO picking up the 6
  • Group 2 – Indian run to Greenville Blvd. and Elm, complete 10 Burpees, run back OYO picking up the 6
  • Group 3 – Indian run to 14th and Charles, complete 20 squats, run back OYO picking up the 6

Each group took about 10-12 minutes to complete their station. When all 3 groups met back at 14th and Elm, we rotated. Each group was able to complete all 3 stations. Meet back at the flag. It was 6:15.

COT/BOM

Moleskin

Great push by all Pax. T-Claps to Roll Call and Abacus for their V-Post at #runstrong. YHC made a deal with Abacus to post today and I would attend BLP Wednesday for #BuildUp for his Q. Inspiring to see Abacus later this morning at school and hear his words of praise. “I actually really enjoyed it”. Another quote that stuck with YHC and Splinter as he put on the #Twittermachine, Roll Call completing the last station said “I’d rather be the 6 than in the sack”. Direct evidence of how powerful both the 1st and 2nd F are of this group and even more testimony of what happens with men get outside of their comfort zone and push themselves.
