When it was suggested that YHC (Rafiki) and Bad Boy go toe-to-toe in a QvQ Challenge, we jumped at the opportunity.  YHC has nothing but respect for Bad Boy.  He always shows up to the Sand Lot early, gives everything he has during each workout, and has encouraging words for the PAX.  On top of all that, the whole QvQ Challenge concept is his brainchild.  He deserves a ton of credit for that.  No matter how the voting goes, I’m just proud to have been a part of today’s competition.

Bad Boy:  It was an honor to battle Rafiki. YHC has tremendous respect for his leadership and for how he approaches F3. If YHC recalls correctly, he signed the plank the first month he joined. He doesn’t quit and he always pushes himself to become stronger. YHC appreciated Cousin IT pointing out that both Rafiki and YHC started F3 under his Q. YHC remembers starting F3 almost a year ago. The plan was to pull into a parking space and observe the first workout. YHC pulled into the parking space between two cars and there were 5 men in the dark staring back. YHC had no choice but to step out. Yes, somehow, YHC managed to head lock himself. At first, YHC considered it to be the wrong parking space, but in reality, it was the right space. It’s been almost a year and F3 has been a great source of strength and it’s provided the opportunity to get to know some great men such as Cousin IT, Rafiki, Die Hard, Scotty Moe and so on… too many to list.
Great push today by the PAX and great Q by Rafiki. Thank you to all who have participated in Q vs Q, looking forward to more challenges in the near future.

Rafiki:  The SandLot might be my favorite AO.  There’s so much here…stage, track, multiple parking lots, picnic tables, a shelter, ball fields, tennis courts, bleachers.  Qing here is easy.  I’m glad that a lot of PAX are getting exposed to it during QvQ.  YHC hopes they continue to return.
YHC could not have picked a better opponent for QvQ than Bad Boy.  YHC knew he was going to bring it this morning and he did not disappoint.  According to my watch, YHC burned more calories today than any of the other QvQ days.  Not a second was wasted during the 45 minutes.
As mentioned above, Cousin IT had a lot to do with both Bad Boy and YHC sticking with F3. He deserves a ton of credit, not only for posting practically every day, but for the behind the scenes work that he puts in.  This website, the ENC twitter account, Slack, the directory…these don’t work on their own.  Cousin IT makes them happen.  Be sure to thank him the next time you post…he’ll probably be there!
