FMB gets quite a bit of credit here for getting this rolling! He tweeted out he needed a Monday morning beatdown. Didn’t take long for Scotty Moe to take ownership and get it started. He even has about 6 queues out booked on the calendar. Wow, he has never been a Site Q, but knows exactly what to do! He asked YHC to get things rolling and open up shop, to which was graciously obliged. Will give reasons in the Moleskin below how this could have gone in another direction… YHC scouted out the location in Google maps after having some visions of driving by there before. Mayhem and YHC took a longer tour on Saturday (since he has the Q next week). YHC got there with several minutes to spare and even beat some of the locals. Mayhem put the EH on a guy while we touring on Saturday (acted like he was given a million dollars – more on that later too), would be interesting to see if he posts…

The Thang

Explained to the PAX that we would get to know the addresses really well on this block. Each address we would do at least 3 different exercises and numbers in the address would provide the reps. We would run to the light and the next address after we finished on the right hand side, on the left we would lunge in between.

1st Exercise was always Burpees OYO (most of the time it was 3, one address in the middle was 116 – Hot Spot must have put that there).

2nd Exercise was Cardio Related (usually 7 reps, except for the exception above, and YHC getting carried away). The exercises were: Side Straddle Hops, Plank Jacks, Mountain Climbers, Peter Parkers, Imperial Walkers, Donkey Kicks, and Jump Squats.

3rd Exercise on the right hand side was mostly Merkins (between 2 and 20 reps). Standard, Ranger, Irkin, Dirkin, Plyo, and Staggered were the different forms that were completed. The last 2 sets were bigger numbers so we did WWI and WWII.

3rd Exercise on the left hand side was AB related (between 21 and 33 reps). American Hammer, Freddy Mercuries, Flutter Kicks, LBC’s, WWI, and WWII were the forms that were completed.

About half way down, Tiny Dancer’s Mom’s store happened to have a B at the end. So we did a Bonus… Bartman and Bad Boy (which start with a B) picked the exercise and reps. We completed Balls to the Wall with each PAX counting to 7. She took pictures of us when we were across the street, but don’t think she captured any of these…

Time was winding down so we did an Apache Run (couldn’t remember the name earlier) back towards the #ShovelFlag.

We stopped at the park benches for:

10 OYO Step-ups
10 Dips IC
10 Jump-ups
10 Dips IC
Each PAX counted a Foot Release Squat, down and back.

BOM

YHC mentioned F3 Farmville. Awesome start for the Ville! Pray that they can give it away, change their lives, and other men in their community!

Scottie Moe mentioned his Grand Dad that has an Oncologist Appt.

YHC closed us in prayer.

COT

ATB called himself out by saying he needs to register for the Anniversary Convergence… Great segway, come one, come all, but sign up first (link is on www.f3enc.com slider and announcement page)! Breakfast is provided, make sure you help by registering…

Suggested a get together for Farmville PAX, lunch when school is out, but maybe once a month going out…

Moleskin

When Scottie Moe asked if I could Q in Farmville the tiny Sadclown in me wanted to say several things that day and could’ve come up with more today like:

It’s 20 minutes from my house.
I have to be to work at 7:15am.
How will I be to work on time, shower???
I am queuing on Sunday too (yesterday).
I ran 7 miles yesterday morning.
I didn’t get my Sunday nap.
I Ice Skated for 2 hours.
I didn’t get to bed till after 10:30.
It’s going to be raining.

All those are about me, F3 is not about me. It’s about working as a team to make each other better by working through obstacles, believing in each other, pushing each other to become better Husbands, Fathers, Brothers, Sons, Uncles, Grandpas, Employees, and Community Leaders.

The Doughnut Shop opened today for posting, Tobacco Road opened 2 weeks ago, and Triple S opened 6 weeks ago! What will you do the night before or the morning of (make excuses or make reasons)?

I remember when The Closed Hand posted something starting F3 on Facebook in a Running Group. Its was the first time I had ever heard of F3. I was working out with a group that was dying a slow death (and was only the first F). I watched some videos, looked at the website, and invited others before I even posted the first time. I felt like the guy that Mayhem put the EH on Saturday. Wow, this is Free??? He didn’t show today and often guys won’t show the first time, sometimes it takes a second mention or more (you know who you guys are)!
