Bootcamp BB
16 PAX gathered for the boot camp this morning and went on a tour around DFS.
Warm Up: 15 MC’s, 10 Merkins; 15 Butt Kickers
Stop One: Gate 6 concrete benches for Derkins & Dips. We did 11 of each, then 10 of each, then 9 of each, then 8 of each, then 7 of each and then halted
Stop Two: Gate 9 we split up in two groups. 8 PAX did BTW while the other 8 PAX each did 5 WWI down the line. Groups switched and then moved on to the next stop. Wimpie LOVES WWI on the concrete
Stop Three: Gate 1 parking lot. Line up against the curb and bear crawl to the other side and do 7 burpees. Run back and bear crawl back and do 6 burpees, and so on until done
Stop Four: Gate 3. Line up against the wall for one PAX to call out 30 seconds BTW for the group. Afterwards another PAX leads in 30 LBC’s. Three rounds. Special shout out to Cousin IT who did a three count on is 30 seconds BTW
Stop Five: Gate 4 by the Pirate Statue. Split back up in to the same groups. One group does step ups on the concrete benches while the other group runs the stairs 3x. Switch then move to the next gate
Stop 6: Gate 5 by the other set of Murphy Center stairs. Two PAX run the stairs 2x while alternating PAX call out a Mary. After all PAX had run the stairs Rafiki led us in an awesome 50 count of flutter kicks.
Stop 7: Back to the flag for one burpee for fun

Great group of men and mumble chatter this morning!

Rucker BB
YHC informed the PAX that even though it was not Thursday, the Stadium was still home of the Clydesdales and that Clydesdales don’t always run fast or far but they do like to carry heavy things so YHC would introduce the Convergence Crew to the Clydesdale Mile.
PAX would grab their ruck sack and make their way to 4 stops; the bus stop at Lower Minges, the Dollar General parking lot, front of Gateway dorm and the bus stop near the stadium. At each stop, PAX would do a series of four exercises, with their ruck, led by the following PAX;
Bono- Ruck Thrusters
2-Stop- Squirrels
Fruity Pebbles- Tricep Extensions
Tap: Flutter Kicks (four count) with ruck overhead
The first stop, PAX did 10 reps of each exercise and at each stop the number of reps increased by 10 so PAX ended up doing 100 reps of each exercise.
Had a few minutes to spare so we did a 40 yard bearcrawl to end the workout

Run BB
YHC tried to keep a simple route and tried to keep the PAX together.
We started with a right out onto 14th street
Left onto elm
left onto 1st street
left onto Conanche St
left onto 10th
right up Collage Hill.
We got back to the flag a few minutes early so we made a lap around the stadium finishing at the flag right at 6:15.
We went back for the 6 at each turn but the PAX stayed pretty tight and lots of good conversations and fellowships along the way.
I want to thank Stern and Fruity Pebbles for making the Convergence such a success and giving me the opportunity to lead.
