YHC offered to Q a few weeks ago wanting to lead a solid beat down at a new AO, and Mayhem gladly accepted letting me have week two.  YHC was approached about Qing the last week for the Washington launch, but regretfully had to decline due to being out of town.  As soon as the Farmville date was set, YHC knew it was time to Q a launch.  YHC knew the focus of the workout, so plans had begun to be made, then he texts me saying “OBT” will be there no pressure.  Then next it was a convergence of all F3ENC, and again no pressure!  I knew I had to bring my A-Game and be ready to go for large numbers and be sure to leave the PAX with a beatdown to remember.  I have coached against Farmville, for a few years now so I knew the terrain well.  Got there early to scope and refresh my self, and 7:00 was here and we began.

The Thang:

SSH-10 IC

High Knees- 10 IC

Begin Merkin mania ( I wanted to give a heavy dose of cadence for the newer PAX to hear, and also wanted to do a variation of merkins also.  All merkins were done In Cadence and stuck with the 10 reps.)

Merkin

Werkin

Diamond Merkin

Hand-Release Merkin

Directions were given, to split into two lines and complete an Indian run down the parking lot, down the hill and to the baseball field.

The focus was partner work (my favorite part of F3), so directions were given to take 2.5 laps around the baseball field for a total of 5 meets.  Each time you met you complete 10 partner dirkins and flip flop.  After you complete your 10 partner dirkins, complete wall sits for the six.  Very important to keep the PAX engaged when they finish early, to allow everyone to finish.  I think of this as in school when there is one kid finishing his test and all kids are staring at him waiting for him to finish to rush him.  It is very important to give instructions to the PAX to complete something when they finish such as Plank, Wall Sits, or COP (Circle of Pain).

Mosey to the soccer field, via jumping the creek and form a line all the way down the baseline.  We would do Lt. Dan (Lunge each leg and squat 2:1)  Lt.Dan all the way down to the other end of the soccer field, and complete burpees for the six.  Once we got started San Fran took off like a sports car trying to chase a person down in his truck in the neighborhood to headlock him about F3.  Super impressive to headlock that way, but also have never seen him move that fast.

Mosey to the giant hill. ( Not many AO’s in Greenville have hills like this, so I knew it would be wise to take advantage.)  Partner up with someone new and complete B.O.M.B.S.  Directions for them are as such:

One partner completes the exercise, while the other partner bear crawls or backpedal up the hill and runs back down.  You rescue your partner and flip flip until the number is complete.  Continue to the next round until finished or time is called.

Exercises were as follows:

50 Burpees

100 Overhead Claps

150 Merkins

100 Big-Boy Sit-ups (Most stopped during or near the end of sit-ups due to time.)

150 Squats

Mosey back to the flag for  Modified Mary?  This was intended to be AB exercises, but we had a few different versions of it today.

Moleskin:

Today was all about giving back and that was never more evident by the group of men that traveled from Washington, Charlotte, Greenville and all over to converge on one spot for the Farmville launch.  OBT said it best, and that is to continue to give it away.  It has spread across the country from North Carolina, all the way to Washington and there in between.  F3 is growing and as it is always said there are always going to be people that need something to fill that void in their life and this is it.  Spread the love of F3 to surrounding communities, headlock men you see and mention it to them.  Give them all the reasons to say yes.  The art of headlocking is the most important, and remember “if you build it they will come!”  When I began in F3, YHC could have never imagined being where I am today leading 51 grown a** men through a workout with confidence, but F3 has instilled that in me. It was my most rewarding day in F3, and I have to say one that Q juice drained out when I got home I crashed.  Men of F3 Farmville, when it is your time to Q(lead a workout) just say yes.  Plan it, execute it, and reflect on it.  YHC still thinks about the VQ(Virgin Q) and you can ask anyone they always remember their first.  Keep pushing the rock, and continue to press on.

Thank you for this opportunity to lead.
